Aeromobil: Flying cars could be on sale by 2017


Teksti kertoo yrityksestä, joka on tehnyt prototyypejä lentävistä autoista ja uskoo niiden olevan saatavissa jo vuonna 2017. Heidän prototyyppinsä nimi on Aeromobil 3.0. Se on kaksi paikkainen auto, joka pystyy muuntumaan pieneksi lentokoneeksi. Se on rakennettu pinnoitetusta hiiiteräksestä ja sen huippunopeus ilmassa on jopa 199,56km/h. Aeromobilin kerrotaan myös kulkevan tavallisella bensiinillä. Sitten kuin se olisi saatavilla sen hinnaksi tulisi kuitenkin monia satoja tuhansia dollareita.

Although I think that the concept of flying cars is very interesting I do not think that we can see them driving around in 2017. But I do think that some day in the future they will belong to our street scene and I look forward to that day. I think in big cities flying cars would be very useful because of the traffic but if everybody would be flying there would be traffic jams in the air. I think the ecology of the flying cars should be considered before we start to use them.
